Dabbing involves heating up a receptacle, usually with a torch that you would put in place of a standard bowl on your favorite bong. These receptacles are commonly called a banger, or nail. Once the receptacle is at the desired vaporization temperature you drop your desired dose of concentrate onto the heated surface and inhale.

There are also electronic devices that can be used for dabbing such as the Puffco Peak, Ispire Daab, and the Terp Pen. Each of these devices operates by heating up a coil using battery power. The main benefit to these types of devices is that it takes the guess work out of finding your desired temperature. When using a banger, or nail it can be difficult to determine what temperature the surface is. In contrast the electronic devices mentioned above allow you to set the device to a precise temperature ensuring you have a consistent dabbing experience every time.
